Helbling is representing UPMC Pinnacle, a prominent healthcare system, in conducting an executive search to secure a Project Manager, Construction.
Under the direction of the System Director of Construction Management and Facilities Maintenance, the Project Manager is responsible for assisting in planning; design; development of scope; and coordination, supervision, and management of construction and renovations projects for the healthcare system. The Project Manager is also responsible for quality control, adherence to institutional and industry standards, budget requirements, and compliance with applicable regulatory agencies.
The ideal Project Manager candidate will possess a balance of technical and interpersonal skills to manage the execution of challenging construction projects while maintaining the highest level of customer service to internal users and stakeholders. The system has more than $500M worth of planned and active construction projects with additional investment looming, and the Project Manager will play a key role in the success of their ongoing capital program. The Project Manager will have ample autonomy and need to be self-driven, but the ideal candidate will also be a team player who will work closely with peer staff within the construction team while also collaborating with operations / maintenance and the broader team within Facilities Management. Position will be based in Harrisburg, PA with select travel to hospital and outpatient locations in Central Pennsylvania.
